MEGGLE is pleased to announce you the release of its new white paper, “Homogeneity in Low-Dose Formulations: Synergy of Excipient Selection and Mixing”.

This white paper shows the key points of selecting the excipients and mixing methods to achieve the blend uniformity in the low-dose formulation. We used the erythrosine (x50 :1.9 ㎛) as the API and MEGGLE lactose for preparing the mixture containing 1 % and 3 % of API by two different blending methods (Active Blend and Trituration). After that we evaluated the blend uniformity of the mixture.

In addition, we also evaluated the risk of segregation when the segregation stress applied to the mixture.
